The new Shoei GT-Air 2 has been updated to meet the needs of modern riders, with an evolved shell design that stays true to its aerodynamic and stable roots. It features an improved ventilation system and includes the lengthened QSV-2 drop down sun visor, providing 5mm more coverage for instant sun relief. The helmet is DOT approved and meets the FMVSS 218 Standard. The multi-piece EPS liner enhances impact absorption and ventilation, while the distortion-free shield blocks 99% of harmful UV rays. The upper air intake vent has been redesigned to maximize air volume into the helmet interior, and the 3-D Max-Dry center pad and multi-layered polyurethane foam cheek pads provide comfort and protection.
