The helmet category is Street, and it is designed for men/unisex. The modular helmet is black/white in color and is available in size X-Small. The aerodynamic properties have been enhanced through feedback from professional riders and extensive wind tunnel testing. The dual-layer EPS liner improves impact absorption and ventilation.

There are five shell and six EPS liner sizes, providing a wide range of fit options for most head sizes. An air spoiler reduces drag and lift, as well as alleviates weight pressure on the neck during high-speed riding. The upper air intake vent is positioned to maximize air volume inside the helmet, while the large upper intake vent is optimized for performance behind wind screens. The helmet also features an easy-to-operate large lower intake vent and a lower air intake/defroster vent to reduce shield fogging and increase ventilation. Additionally, there are rear/neck outlets for effective air exhaust, as well as a breath guard and chin curtain included.

The shell structure of the helmet is made from high-performance fiber materials combined with elastic organic fibers to ensure it is ultra-lightweight, rigid, and resilient. The 3-D center pad and multi-layered, polyurethane foam cheek pads provide a comfortable fit. The cheek pads can be replaced or removed for maintenance, and the interior is eyeglass compatible. The chin strap neatly secures in place.

The helmet also features a Q.R.S.A. (Quick-Release Self-Adjusting) base plate that allows for tool-less shield removal and installation. The CW-1 shield is scratch-resistant, wider, and taller than its predecessor, the CX-1V. Optional CWF-1 racing shields with tear-off posts are available, as well as CW-1 Pinlock prepared shields to accommodate Pinlock Fog Free Inserts. The shield offers 99.9 percent protection from harmful UV A & B rays.

In addition to all these features, the helmet is DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified, guaranteeing its safety and quality.
