The aerodynamics of the RF-1400 have been developed and refined in SHOEI’s state-of-the-art, in-house wind tunnel facility, boasting impressive improvements in aerodynamic performance. The advanced noise reduction features optimally reduce wind noise around the helmet, providing a quiet riding experience without blocking informative sounds from the road. The ventilation performance has been optimized to reveal the optimal balance between airflow and silence, with additional air intake holes to increase cooling air entering the helmet.

The RF-1400 is equipped with a fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Interior System II capable of dissipating sweat 2x faster than traditional nylon interiors. The newly designed cheek pads provide greater comfort and reduced wind noise. The CWR-F2 Shield offers optimized visibility with a 2D outside surface and 3D tech inside, along with the PINLOCK EVO fog-resistant system for improved vision.

Furthermore, the CWR-F2 Base Plate System has been completely redesigned to facilitate quicker, smoother shield changes, providing easier, more precise tuning. The Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ Shell meets both SNELL M2020 and DOT standards, with hand-laid interwoven layers of fiberglass and lightweight high-performance fibers. The Emergency Quick Release System allows for easy and safe removal of cheek pads from an injured rider’s helmet, and the RF-1400 is DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified.
