Shoei, known for its trustworthy reputation, proudly introduces its latest addition to the iconic Flagship lineup: the RF-1400. Introduced in 1984, the RF series has been a staple in the motocross community, with years of R&D driving continuous improvements in safety, design, comfort, noise reduction, and overall quality.

Wind tunnel tests have fine-tuned the RF's aerodynamics and ventilation, enhancing the design. Shoei has significantly reduced drag and lift, creating a compact, aerodynamic shell that maximizes airflow over the rider while still maintaining the lightest SNELL-approved full-face helmet in the lineup. This ensures that riders don’t forfeit important characteristics, such as wind noise, that most lighter helmets often compromise.

The spoiler-inspired shell, designed through wind tunnel testing, provides a quieter helmet while also enhancing the new CWR-F2 shield system using Vortex Generator technology to manage wind turbulence. The all-new, airtight window beading system ensures a watertight and windproof seal, making it easy to open and close. Additionally, the RF-1400 features more voluminous cheek pads and removable ear pads to soften wind noise.

Proprietary technology integrates a matrix of hand-laid interwoven layers of fiberglass and lightweight organic fibers, delivering a helmet that meets SNELL M2020 and DOT ratings. Shoei’s strongest, most elastic shell provides optimal impact absorption. The helmet is lined with a dual-layer multi-density EPS foam liner, which also facilitates unrestricted airflow through the channels created by the liner. The precise placement of EPS material helps shape the RF-1400’s compact, lightweight design.
