Advanced Features Aerodynamics: Developed and refined in SHOEI’s state-of-the-art, in-house wind tunnel facility, the RF-1400 boasts impressive improvements in aerodynamic performance, including a 6% reduction in lift and a 4% reduction in drag compared to the RF-1200. Advance Noise Reduction: Optimal shell aerodynamics reduce wind noise around the helmet. Vortex Generators on the sides of the shield reduce wind turbulence. All-new, airtight window beading provides a wind/waterproof seal, offering a quiet riding experience without blocking the road’s informative sounds. Ventilation Performance: Utilizing SHOEI’s in-house wind tunnel to reveal the optimal balance between airflow and silence, the designers relocated the center/forehead vent and added an additional air intake hole to increase the volume of cooling air entering the helmet.

Comfort: The RF-1400 comes with a fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable 3D Max-Dry Interior System II that can dissipate sweat 2x faster than traditional nylon interiors. The newly designed cheek pads feature more volume on the bottom for greater comfort and reduced wind noise.

CWR-F2 Shield: The 2D outside surface with 3D tech inside offers optimized visibility, and the PINLOCK EVO fog-resistant system is 10% larger for improved vision.

CWR-F2 Base Plate System: Completely redesigned to facilitate quicker, smoother shield changes, the new shield adjuster mechanism also provides easier, more precise tuning.

Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ Shell: Meets both SNELL M2020 and DOT standards, featuring hand-laid interwoven layers of fiberglass with lightweight, high-performance fibers.

Emergency Quick Release System: This system allows emergency medical personnel to easily and safely remove the cheek pads from an injured rider’s helmet.
